Product Details

A premium high-solid urethane clearcoat engineered for full-panel and overall refinish applications where deep, wet-look gloss and long-term UV resistance are non-negotiable. Ultra Gloss 2K levels beautifully and buffs to a showroom finish with minimal effort.

Why Shops Choose Ultra Gloss

Body shops running high-volume collision repair need a clear that sprays fast, flows out smooth, and holds up under the desert sun. Ultra Gloss 2K delivers a 2.1 VOC-compliant formula with exceptional DOI (distinctness of image) right off the gun — cutting buff time and getting cars back on the road faster.

  • High-solid urethane chemistry for superior film build in two coats
  • Excellent UV and weather resistance — no yellowing or delamination
  • Compatible with all major basecoat systems including waterborne
  • Mix ratio 4:1 with MX hardener — 2:1 available for production environments
  • Pot life: approximately 4 hours at 75°F

Application Guide

Apply two medium-wet coats over a fully flashed basecoat. Allow 5–10 minutes flash time between coats at 70–80°F. For production spray, use an HVLP gun at 28–30 PSI with a 1.3–1.4 mm fluid tip. Force-dry at 140°F for 30 minutes or air-dry overnight before wet sanding and buffing.

We switched to Ultra Gloss two years ago and haven’t looked back. The flow-out is unreal — most jobs don’t even need a buff.
